Affiliated Companies

The Prime Minister decree no.147/2008 was issued to merge the Holding Company for Trade into the National Company for Construction and Development (NCCD). Due to this decree, 5 companies are currently transferred to NCCD, these companies are:

1- Egyptian Irrigation and Drainage company

2- Egyptian Dredging company

3- Upper Egypt dredging company

4- General Mechanical Excavation

5- Ramsis for Agriculture Projects Management

NCCD has 20 companies categorized as follows : 9 contracting companies, 1 Foundation company, 1 company for Designs and Engineering consultations, 3 Housing companies, 2 Electric companies, 3 Irrigation and Drainage companies after merging Upper Egypt Dredging company into Egyptian irrigation and Drainage company , 1 company for Agriculture projects management.

The volume of work realized by the affiliated companies during the fiscal year 2010/2011 was 8.932 milliard pound, which realized an amount of surplus of 598 million pound , approximated to 6.7% .
